Martin Luther King Jr.

Image
January 15 is reserved to Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a social activist and Baptist minister who played a key role in the American civil rights movement from the mid-1950s until his assassination in 1968. King sought equality and human rights for African Americans, the economically disadvantaged and all victims of injustice through peaceful protest. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal." At the age of thirty-five, Martin Luther King, Jr., was the youngest man to have received the Nobel Peace Prize. Chittor was the capital of Mewar. This fort has seen the ups and downs of history. It is the witness of the most bloody battles in history.
